Born on February 16, 1970 in Aichi Prefecture. March 1994: Graduated from the Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Economics, Hokkaido University. While still a student, the YOSAKOI Soran Festival Executive Committee was established, and the first event was held in June 1992. Since then, it has become one of Hokkaido's leading tourist attractions, attracting more than 2 million visitors. In March 2001, he became executive director of the YOSAKOI Soran Festival Organizing Committee. Elected as leader of the House of Councilors election in July 2010.
