Career
Born on January 30, 1962 in Chengdu, Sichuan, China. Graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy, Peking University in 1980. He came to Japan in 1988 to study abroad. Completed master's degree at Kobe University Graduate School of Education in 1991. In 1995, he graduated from Kobe University's Graduate School of Cultural Studies after completing the doctoral course. From 1995 to 2001, researcher at Future Generations International Foundation and Future Generations Research Institute. From 2002 to July 2025, engaged in free speech activities. Has appeared on TV and published many manuscripts in magazines. More than 200 books and conversation books have been published. From March 2009 to March 2025, "Ishihira's China Watch" column was serialized in the Sankei Shimbun newspaper. His major works include ``Why will Japan prosper if it moves away from China?'' (PHP Institute) (recipient of the Shichihei Yamamoto Prize), ``Royal Japanese History'' (Asuka Shinsha), ``The Naturalized Person Problem'' (Wanibooks), and ``Why does China continue to yearn for Japan?'' (SB Shinsho). ○In 2025, there will be a national proportional election for the House of Councilors election.
