Born on September 8, 1955 in Marugame City, Kagawa Prefecture. In March 1980, he entered the Faculty of Law, University of Tokyo, and joined All Nippon Airways Co., Ltd. (ANA) in the same year. His final career was as Director of Risk Management, CSR Promotion Office. He left the company in March 2010. In July 2010, he was selected as the prefecture's first publicly solicited candidate in the Kagawa prefecture selection ward of the Sansanin election.
