Career
Born in Chiba Prefecture on September 7, 1960. Gakushuin University, Faculty of Economics. Doctorate in Economics from Saitama University Graduate School. After working at Toyo Trust Bank in charge of regional development and bond trading, he worked at the Japan Shipbuilding Foundation. Responsible for maritime issues and shipbuilding technology development. After being involved in humanitarian aid operations during the Chernobyl nuclear disaster and civil wars in Yugoslavia and Sri Lanka, he became a professor at Tokai University and engaged in research and education on maritime policy, territorial waters, and territorial issues. He has made policy recommendations as a member of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's Ocean Policy Council, as well as a member of the expert councils of various organizations, and has appeared on various media as a commentator. Delivering lectures all over the country on topics such as regional revitalization, the environment, and disaster prevention measures.
