Born on March 5, 1975 in Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture. Fukushima Prefectural Fukushima High School, Chiba Institute of Technology, Faculty of Engineering 〇 Joined the Defense Agency in 1997 and became an instructor at the National Defense Academy. Obtained doctoral degree (engineering) from Tokyo Institute of Technology in 2003. Became an assistant professor at the National Defense Academy in 2007, a lecturer in the same year, and an associate professor in 2012. Specializes in metal engineering. Received the ``Best Poster Award'' given to the most outstanding presenter at the International Conference on Advanced Power Generation Equipment Materials (2002 and 2006).
