Born on March 19, 1960. Born in Katsushika Ward, Tokyo. In 1986, he entered the Department of Political Science, Faculty of Political Science and Economics, Waseda University. Joined Komei Shimbun in the same year. He belonged to the social affairs department, the Kansai bureau, the curatorial department, the editorial department, and the political department, and during his time in the political department, he was engaged in reporting activities at the forefront of national politics. As a member of a party delegation, he visited China in 2004, 2004, and 2005, and South Korea in 2002. In the same year, he became the head of the political department. He served as deputy editor-in-chief in 1999, and left the company in 2010. On October 13th of the same year, he was elected as a member of the House of Councilors.
