Born on September 14, 1960 in Shinjuku, Tokyo. After graduating from Kanagawa Prefectural Kakiu High School in March 1980, he entered the Shinagawa Oizan Post Office in Tokyo. While working at a post office in Shinagawa Ward, he works to resolve workplace issues as an officer of the All Postal Labor Union.
〇 Member of the Japan Post Tokyo Regional Headquarters Executive Committee in July 1994, and the Japan Post Central Executive Committee in 2000. With the formation of the JP Labor Union in 2007, he became Deputy General Secretary of the Tokyo Regional Headquarters, and in 2009 became a member of the Central Executive Committee, serving as General Manager of the Post Office, Deputy Director of the Planning Bureau, and Director of the Planning Bureau, working to establish a management foundation for the Postal Group, which is suffering from the contradictions of privatization, and improve the treatment of union members. 〇Became a candidate within the JP union organization in February 2021 and won the election for the House of Councilors in July 2021.
